My name
is Stephanie Horner and I live in Federal Way, Washington
with my three
wonderful Weimaraners. Dogs have always been a very
large part of my life. My parents met at a dog show and
we always had a houseful of dogs growing up. I am very
thankful that I was raised that dogs are, and should be
part of the family. They are a lifetime commitment and
are not disposable possessions.

As an adult, I wanted a clean,
versatile dog. I fell in love with the Weimaraner
after seeing one at a dog show. It was a long
search to find a puppy and I am so very fortunate
to get for my first dog, my wonderful " Jaeger",
Am./Can. Ch. Orion’s Jaeger V Reiteralm
CD, TD, MH, SD, RDX, VX, CGC, BROM. Jaeger is
a outstanding ambassador for the breed and has
far exceeded any expectations I had of him when
I brought him home 12 years ago. I am fortunate
to also have two of his daughters, the beautiful
Ch. Nike’s
Stella By Starlight JH,
NSD, NRD, V, CGC and the baby Ch. Nike N Eden’s
Nina Ricci JH, NSD,
NRD, V. |

I am constantly trying to learn as much
as I can about dogs. Having been with this breed only
13 years I am considered a young breeder with only five
litters thus far, I feel I have so much to learn from
many people that have been in this breed for so much
longer. With wonderful dogs that started my breeding
program and wonderful mentors, I feel quite fortunate
and excited as to what the future holds for my dogs and
myself.

Dogs are our link to
paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent.
To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon
is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring
- it was peace. Milan Kundera.
